The Level Vodcast— POC’s and underrepresented groups lack the confidence to keep being resilient. We have to remind ourselves that this is the time to keep going, not exit. If we aren’t pushing ourselves up, we’re wasting the time of those who came before us. You’re taught if you work hard you get rewarded—but things like backdoor deals, race and wealth are not considered in that narrative. Remind people of color of why they’re here. What is your role to play in the corporate system, you have to work through the system to change it. The Level aims to showcase the reality of BIPOC issues (in culture, corporate spaces and the industry) through authenticity, openness and positive dialogue with both BIPOC and non-BIPOC employees in hopes of helping all of us together, level up.
